This year’s show was filled with new and old companies that are on pathways to taking the online marketing world by storm but the most notorious of them all was of course, Blue Phoenix Media. Our booth, which was situated on the first floor of the ever so spacious Jacob Javits Center, was constantly surrounded by lines of people waiting to meet with our team .

Aside from that, there was great interest in our web properties from both the publisher and advertiser’s standpoints. Numerous of publishers asked us about our exclusive deals that they can’t get from anyone else in this industry, our ability to directly work with them and our capability to give direct feedback. We got the opportunity to speak with countless advertisers about how we will build more direct relationships and score more quality leads for them. Many showed interest in our Biz-Op and Education offers which include CollegeConduit.com, MakeGoogleBucks.com, Strayer University and Kaplan University to name a few. Ad:Tech truly gave publishers and advertisers the platform to learn about the many facets of Blue Phoenix Media such as our diligent staff, proprietary lead generation technology and our web properties that we built and operate ourselves which, in turn, generate better lead and quality control for our advertisers.

How dare us discuss Ad:Tech without mentioning the parties! On Tuesday night we got down with our bad selves at the No Bull event at Johnny Utahs. No bull riding for us but the party was great. On Wednesday night we attended the Gevalia cocktail party at The Gates and the truffle pizza was out of this world. We went straight from the Gevalia party to the Money Maker party at Club Pacha and Slick Rick was…. *crickets*. Huge thanks to Infinite Traffic for sharing their VIP with us!

This year’s Ad:Tech NY event truly was a success for Blue Phoenix Media. It only makes us look forward to the upcoming Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas even more. The summit will be held at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino from January 17th-19th and we will be at table #7 at the Meet Market. ad-tech-logo.jpg  We are pleased to announce that Blue Phoenix Media Inc. will be in full effect at this year’s Ad Tech New York City event!  This action packed conference will be taking place from November 4th-6th at the Jacob Javits Center.  Some presenters include Jimmy Wales who is the founder of Wikipedia, WPP’s Chief Executive Sir Martin Sorrell and Jonathan Miller who is the Chief Digital Officer of News Corporation.  Other speakers will be coming from companies such as MTV Networks, Walmart.com, Google, and Hyundai to name a few.  The conference will include over 200 speakers, more than 60 value driven panels and the expo will feature 250+ exhibitors, including ourselves. 

Aside from Blue Phoenix Media being known for its affiliate network which is comprised of over 200 advertisers and 3,000 active publishers, we also boast 20+ exclusive web properties to maximize brand awareness that we’ve built and own as well as various Education Portals that generate quality leads.  Although our most successful verticals are Education, Consumer Products and Health and Pharmaceuticals, we offer campaigns in over 20 other verticals.  Alongside our proprietary lead generation technology, we have a Coreg platform to serve into registration pages to monetize websites.

August started out extremely busy and Affiliate Summit East was the perfect beginning to a successful month for Blue Phoenix Media! Affiliate Summit was from August 9th-11th and was in our home base New York City, allowing us to exhibit in full force. The estimated 2,500 expected to attend the show was doubled to over 4,000 attendees, making the show a success for everyone!

The show started with the Meet Market on Sunday, which included a frenzy of eager affiliates and merchants ready to do business. We had a great spot between the entrance and the escalators to the 2nd floor, so no one got through the show without seeing us first. Crowds swooned around our table to find out what Blue Phoenix Media has to offer. There was no time for a break as prospects approached us to the very end of the show. The first day went off without a hitch!

On Monday, the Exhibit Hall event had attendees slipping in long before 10am. Being in the 1st aisle of the 1st floor, again, allowed no one to lose sight of Blue Phoenix Media. Lines formed around our booth from the start, barely allowing anyone to pass through. We were equipped with a full staff from C-Level Executives to well trained Affiliate Mangers, allowing us to serve everyone’s needs at the show. The night ended with our sponsored party with Headlines & Heroes at The Bottom Line at Touch. We celebrated the show’s success in our VIP booth and jammed with Biz Markie who sang his hit ‘You Got What I Need’ inches away from us! Many of our partners came by to celebrate with us and the night closed with a bang.

Tuesday’s expected turnout was pretty decent, considering many attendees may have been curing hangovers. Lines still surrounded our booth and people eagerly waited to find out more about Blue Phoenix. We even had traveling publicity as visitors from the previous days walked around wearing our shirts! The show remained busy to the end and we left with a plethora of new business to pursue!

We are excited that Affiliate Summit East 2009 is coming to our hometown, New York City, August 9th-11th! Of course we will be exhibiting at the event for both the Meet Market on Sunday and the Exhibition event on Monday and Tuesday. For those who don’t know, Affiliate Summit is one of the best industry affiliate marketing conferences that gives affiliates the opportunity to meet with affiliate managers and merchants in person.     Advertising week was full of events in New York and with multiple conferences happening on the West coast as well it was to our surprise that the OMMA show here in NYC was actually productive. On Thursday we took part of the afternoon to visit the OMMA Exhibit Hall at the Marquis Hotel in Times Square. Having been last year, it seemed there were more companies and a better turnout.  The exhibit hall had a variety of companies most of who actually showed up this time (Last year there were many empty booths).  There were many West Coast companies exhibiting at the show as well, some who may have wished they were in Vegas with their other colleagues at the Targus event, LOL. We were eager to go this year since there were more performance based companies to meet with to potentially score new business, which are in the works by the way ;) !  

    We spoke to some great company reps who were friendly and thorough.  It was refreshing to see so many enthusiastic people really on the grind to boost their business. There was definitely more attendees and the atmosphere of the show was promising.
