AffCon 2010 Goes to Denver

BPM at AFFCONAs Affiliate Convention 2010 draws closer, the Blue Phoenix team is getting more and more excited—for a few reasons. Most important of them: Unlike traditional trade shows and conferences, AffCon 2010 is free for working affiliates. With affiliates bringing revenue to companies like ours, it makes no sense to have them pay to learn more about their trade. Which is why AffCon 2010—touted by event organizers as being the “highest level of affiliate marketers ever assembled in North America”—promises a diverse mix of marketers.

Taking place in Denver, Colorado from June 21-23, AffCon 2010 sets itself apart from other affiliate marketer meet-ups by offering a 360-degree experience. In addition to exchanging ideas with new affiliates and catching up with old friends in the industry, AffCon 2010 also provides panels where the movers and shakers of the industry can dispense their own secrets to success to affiliate aspirants. I’m particularly looking forward to the round table on Ethics in Affiliate Marketing. Additionally, Joel Comm‘s keynote looks like a session I won’t miss. Another must-see will be our CEO Amy Sheridan‘s presentation as part of the “The Big Niche” panel on the first day of the event. And until then, you can follow her on Twitter.

Beyond the actual conference itself, it looks like a lot of parties are already in the works. With such a mix of old and new affiliate marketers, this is a great way to supplement the intensity that a conference inspires.

Above all, the best part about AffCon 2010 is how open it is—while being free to all affiliate marketers (haven’t signed up yet? Click here to get started!) and focusing on issues directly related to their interests, the conference is also accessible to anyone who wants to learn more about how affiliate marketing – with non-affiliates having the option of paying $99 to sign up through AffCon 2010’s website.

So if you’re planning on going to AffCon 2010, let us know!
